With the development of human science and technology,emerging technology such as computer technology is applied more and more broadly in recently years.In this situation,people also have increasingly stringent requirements to the sustainable development of power system.The research of smart grid is a historic landmark project.It is another great revolution of the modern power grid that can improve the scale and structure of the electric power transmission network.But the realization of smart grid needs harsh technical conditions most of which are still in the experimental stage or on small-scale trial.To further develop smart grid,the first technical challenge that needs to be solved is how to upgrade it.The purpose of the upgrade is to automate electric power transportation,to extend network coverage range,and to exchange instruments.The above difficulties should be overcome in the developing process of the smart grid.In addition,the construction of smart grid has long cycle and large scale,and the construction environment is complex.As a result,we face a variety of challenges and risks in the construction process.Therefore the implementation of the risk management is essential.It's the guarantee of the smooth implementation of smart grid construction project.This paper first introduces the theories of risk management and project risk management,summarizes the characteristics,basic processes and the methods of project risk management.Then,we identify and analyses risk factors in the smart grid construction project.And the characteristics of the project risk evaluating index are explained.On this basis,this paper further summarizes the risk types.Finally,we sort the project risks according to its important degree,and the risk levels of these risks are given.In this paper,the main research work is in following filed: 1.Analyze the connotation and characteristics of risk and project risk,summarize the basic ideas and methods of project risk management,sum up the core risk factors and their characteristics of the smart grid construction project.Besides that,the basic characteristics of the risk evaluation index are also expounded.2.Build the risk evaluation index system for smart grid construction project using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process.Furthermore,propose a risk evaluation model for the smart grid construction project.3.Define the index weight according to the importance of the risks,evaluate the risk of a specific constriction project and give the final result of risk evaluation.
