With the rapid development of the national economy,the power grid structure is becoming more and more complicated.Distribution network refers to the distribution line through the power substation,power users to connect a network,the power according to the size of the load distribution in the high-voltage transmission network and power users played a bridge between the role of more branches,longer lines,The load is also more dispersed.According to the survey,the power factor of the secondary side load side of the distribution transformer is low,and the secondary voltage of the partial distribution transformer is at a low level(350V)for a long time in the province(Liaoning Province)(such as relatively remote and relatively backward areas)~ 370V),to the power of the user’s equipment to run a serious impact.The reactive power optimization compensation of the distribution network can minimize the loss of the network,make the supply voltage within the qualified range,improve the utilization of equipment,the distribution network of the economy,reliable and stable operation is of great significance.This paper expounds the basic principle and basic principles of reactive power compensation,as well as the technique and method of reactive power compensation.In the low voltage distribution network as the research object,a detailed study of the low voltage distribution network reactive power compensation method,the reactive power characteristics of various components in low voltage distribution network is analyzed,and the reactive power compensation effect of various components are analyzed,the quantitative components to enhance the power factor of the significance;build a static var the generator mathematical model,the instantaneous reactive power theory and synchronous rotation transformation theory,deduced the current vector coordinate transformation detection algorithm based on dq;design the double loop SVG control method,can realize real-time compensation for reactive current,effectively enhance the performance of the static reactive power compensation.The MATLAB simulation model of 10 kV distribution network is built to verify the reactive power compensation performance of SVG.Finally,taking a certain area of Huludao as an example,the benefit of reactive power compensation technology is analyzed.
