The sign system is one of the important components of the VI system.Today,people are gradually pursuing development from material to spiritual pursuit and hope to have a comfortable experience.The space sign system is usually set up within the exclusive space area of a brand.In this space,the user will contact all the experiences and feelings with the brand.The guide system needs to satisfy the user's basic functional requirements,builds its own brand effect,to satisfies users' experience and emotional needs.As a special brand group,universities are different from other commercial brands.Universities need to express more of their scientific research strength,education level and cultural connotation.The groups faced by universities are also mostly people with higher cultural level and cultural awareness.Such people are more in need of spiritual and cultural needs.Sign design of universities space sign system needs to expand the design direction,from the design direction that just to satisfies user's functional and aesthetic needs into a variety of spiritual satisfaction.Product Semantics analyzes the meaning conveyed by each element and reconstructs it by decomposing various design elements such as modeling,color,material,and symbols,so as to broaden the communication channels between “humanproduct-environment”.And accurately transmit information.This article uses product semantics to deconstruct universities space sign system,analyzes the design elements of universities space sign systems from multiple angles,and takes the sign system as a product design point of view,and designs it as a product series.Analysis In the special brand and environment of the university space sign systems,the sign system correctly expresses accurate value information and emotional information through product semantics such as modeling,color,material,and symbols,and constructs a “human-guided system-"Information system between environment".Finally,through the design practice,the feasibility and practicability of product semantics in the design and use of university space sign systems are examined.
