Interpretation Of Traditional Architecture’s Semantics In Dali From The Perspective Of Communication

Dali region of traditional architecture is Dali and the precious historical and cu ltural heritage of the Chinese nation,they are the material carrier of national cultur e and regional culture deeply,but now more and more marble building has lost the Dali ancient Chinese spirit kernel,so the inner meaning of the traditional building s in Dali area are systematic,multi-angle study is the necessity and urgency.Since the 1980 s,interdisciplinary research methods from the perspective of sem iotics have achieved fruitful results in various kinds of scientific research,and the i nterpretation of architectural symbols’ meaning is an important method to deeply un derstand their connotation.Based on the theory of semiotics,the study of traditional architecture in Dali is an in-depth and detailed study of the history and culture of ethnic architecture,which is of great significance for inheriting,protecting and dev eloping traditional ethnic culture.From the perspective of cross-communication of architecture,communication an d semiotics,on the basis of field research,literature review and folk visits,this pa per systematically investigated the types,characteristics and connotations of tradition al architectural symbols in Dali area by referring to the existing physical specimens of the traditional buildings.From the perspective of architectural discipline,the tra ditional architectural symbols in Dali area are classified into three levels: architectur al layout symbols,architectural component symbols and architectural ornament symb ols.On this basis,from the perspective of the discipline of symbols,the semiotic,in dicative and conventional symbols of traditional architectural symbols in Dali area a re analyzed and studied respectively,and the information,concepts and meanings be hind them are understood.Finally,based on the local characteristics of traditional ar chitectural symbols in Dali area and the law of their meaning propagation,this pap er establishes the readability formula of traditional architectural symbols in Dali are a,and puts forward the requirements and strategies of reading architectural symbols.On the basis of investigation and research,the paper reveals the Dali area trad itional architectural symbols are rooted in the local law of the physical environment and humanistic environment,points out the traditional architectural symbols for dec oration,Dali district address functional requirements and reflect the significance ofnational philosophy,explore the path of reading the semantics,in the hope of disci plines protect small contribution to the development of local culture.
