Advocating and achieving fairness and justice is the everlasting topic for the human society.To realize this principle in the socialist system,the theory of distribution according to work has to be followed.As the first priority for distribution system,the fairness and justice of salary management has direct influence on the development of productivity.Electric power system is the public fundamental industry which plays an important role in economic,political and social development of a country.In view of innovations in the electricity system,the power industry faces various challenges and opportunities due to changes of the electrical market.In order to create an outstanding operation and management system,it is essential for companies to have a complete salary management system.The potential of personal developments is increased and a more reasonable and competitive salary policy is achieved with the application of an equitable salary system.A perfect salary system is the key for sustainable developments of power industry.Thus,designing and building a reasonable salary system based on characteristics of power industries is necessary for the future expand of electrical companies.The salary management system including the cause of salary innovation,evolution,achievements and disadvantages is investigated in this paper.Typical examples are discussed to analyze the salary evolution,which can also be used as the groundwork for recent innovation.Meanwhile,the connotation,construction,essence and function of salary is concluded and defined and four common salary incentive systems are introduced to build the theoretical foundation of salary innovation.This research is based on the recent situation of salary management system for one power industry in Jiangxi.The background,system construction and human resources situations in this industry are presented to show problems such as unclear position evaluation and insufficient staff quality motivation in their salary management system.The recent salary system has also been evaluated based on the incentive theory and public requirements.To construct a new salary system is the most important achievement.To achieve it,the comprehensive research has been done to confirm the position hierarchies,position evaluation and management,post salary,performance salary and additional salary.The supporting strategy is also proposed to ensure the operability for this new method.Both theoretical and case studies are included to encourage enthusiasm,initiative and creativity of staffs by managing salary.The research shows realistic significance for developing salary innovation in power system. |
