The report of the 19 th CPC National Congress explicitly pointed out: "China's economy has shifted from high-speed growth to high-quality development"."high-quality development stage" is reflected in the industrial structure, including industrial structure restructuring and upgrading. The adjustment of industrial structure is an important part of economic development. In the economic development of our country, the rapid development of high-speed railway plays an extremely important leading role.High-speed railways promote the flow of inter-city production factors, promote regional economic development, and affect the evolution of urban industrial structure. However, due to differences in the characteristics of the industries itselves and the economic development of the city, there are significant differences among the industries and cities affected by the opening of high-speed railways.Inspecting the changes in the industrial structure of cities along the high-speed railways opening line,it is of great significance for the high-speed railways and surrounding cities to give full play to high-speed rail economic advantages, help the local economy, and promote the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure. This article analyzes the combination of theoretical and empirical analysis. In the theoretical analysis section, after combing the existing literature and combining the theories of the transportation and industry relations theory, the theory of industrial structure change and aggregation & diffusion effects theory, the influence mechanism of the opening of the high-speed railway on the industrial structure of the cities along the route was deduced. The opening of high-speed railways reduces the transportation costs of factor flows. The re-selection of location by enterprises, along with the rapid flow of this element, leads to the aggregation and proliferation of industries, and ultimately affects the changes in the industrial structure of cities along the route. In the empirical analysis section, the industrial structure of the cities along the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway opened in 2011 was taken as the research object. The first part,at the industry level, uses the static and dynamic Difference-in-Difference model to analyze the impact of the opening of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway on the upgrade of the primary industry, secondary industry, tertiary industry, segment industry of tertiary industry, typical industries, and industrial structural upgrading of the cities along the line. The second part,at the city level, analyzes the changes in the industrial structure of the 19 cities of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail route based on the two-period dynamic Shift-Share Analysis model, and structurally decomposes the changes in the number of employed people, and analyzes the growth of employment in the three industries before and after the opening of high-speed rail in different cities and location changes in competitiveness.Through theoretical and empirical analysis, the following three conclusions are drawn:(1)The opening of high-speed railways reduces transportation costs, and affects the industrial structure of cities along the route through agglomeration and diffusion effects;(2)Affected by the opening of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, the industrial structure of the first&third industry, the manufacturing,high-tech industries, and tertiary industries in the six sub-industries along the line are significantly affected, and the opening of the high-speed railway will promote industrial upgrading.(3)After the opening of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, the secondary industry in the cities along the route is developing more evenly than the tertiary industry, and the development paths of the three industry employees in different economic development base cities are different.According to different cities according to the development path, the cities along the route are divided into 5 categories, and for the competitiveness of the cities along the line, the opening of the high-speed railway will make the secondary industry's competitiveness in the cities along the line tend to be balanced, but the gap in the competitiveness of the tertiary industry will gradually widen. Finally,it proposes policy recommendations on the differences in the changes in industrial structure presented by different industries and cities under the opening of high-speed railways.
