| With the continuous growth of urban population, urban problems such as traffic congestion and environmental deterioration have become increasingly prominent. The traditional singlecenter development model has become an obstacle to urban development. In order to eradicate housing shortages, employment difficulties and other urban diseases, local governments have put forward multi-center development strategies.Today, the population of central urban district of Weifang is over one million. It is in a critical period of transition from a "single center" to a "multi-centered" environment.Optimizing the spatial structure of the center urban area has become the key to safeguarding its healthy development. In the past, most studies on urban centers were based on the analysis of traditional data such as demographic statistics, economic census, and the construction area of public facilities. These data have the disadvantages such as small total amount, difficulty in obtaining, and slow update, and it is difficult to dynamically reflect the current state of development in the central area of the city.As a result, most of the relevant researches are based on qualitative analysis, few scholars measure the urban center area from the perspective of quantitative analysis. In the context of the development of the information age today, various new data broke out.Compared with traditional data, the new data has the advantages such as large amount, easy access, good dynamics, and high credibility, and it can effectively compensate for the lack of traditional data. With the optimization and upgrading of data processing methods make it possible to measure the central area of the city using new data. From the point of view of quantitative analysis, this article summarizes the domestic and foreign theoretical research and practical experience results and based on three new data measured the urban center of Weifang.Firstly, this article vectorized the data of thermodynamic chart of Baidu, depending on the intensity of population fever in different regions, the high and sub tropical regions of the city have been identified.Based on the high and sub tropical areas of different central areas, the grades of the urban central areas are divided, and the core areas are the high and sub tropical regions.Delineating the spatial boundary of the urban central area by the urban road outside the sub tropical zone.Secondly, analyzed the spatial distribution of urban residents living, working and entertainment by mobile phone signaling data.Subsequently a superposition analysis was performed on the distribution density of different types of people.Divided the city center area through the quantitative analysis of the urban population density and the attractiveness of the crowd in the central area, then with the core of the high-density crowded area as the central area, and with the grid as the boundary, the scope of the central area of the city is defined.Taking the Bailang River Commercial Center as an example, discussed the differences between the new data and the traditional data measurement results, and then the traditional data and new data measurement methods were compared and analyzed. Finally, analyzed the spatial distribution of different types of public service facilities in Weifang based on POI data, and defined the level of different functional centers in the city through the cluster analysis of the total number and distribution density of facilities.Based on the measurement results of different new data, this paper analyzes the problems in the development of Weifang City and pointed out the optimization strategies for the development of urban centers. Then propounded further suggestions on the transition from a multi-centered spatial structure in Weifang City Center District. It is hoped that some reference were provided for other cities in the transitional period of spatial structure in China that taking Weifang Central City as an example. |
