Research On Temple Buildings In Guxin Town Of She County

Vernacular architecture is an important part of Chinese cultural heritage.There are many temple buildings which has a certain historical value in Guxin Twon of She county.As a typical form of non settlements living building,its location,compound type and build skills reflect objectively the culture and aesthetic characteristics of villagers.It has certain researching value.Under the background of "village revitalization" and "exploring the origin",the study of the settlement temple and its carrying of folk beliefs is gradually heating up.However,some studies have focused on the folk belief itself,the study on the architectural form of the temple is still insufficient.So the paper research the temple's space form and build skill from the view of architecture,and deepen understanding of settlement temple itself form logic.This paper which is based on traditional settlements in Guxin Town of She Country selects the temple buildings in traditional settlement as the research object.On the basis of its comprehensive investigation,carrying on the analysis from temple buildings' background,the statistics and distribution,temple public function,relationship between temple and settlement and temple buildings' features five aspects,reaching a roughly understanding to Guxin Town.On the basis of the previous research,it analysis the spatial morphological from the four levels: the site selection,the combination of the temple and surrounding buildings,the plane layout and the monomer building.From the construction materials,architectural construction,architectural structure,color and decoration,it analysis build skills,so as to obtain the architectural features of the temple.Finally,the paper summarizes the value,status and existing problems of temples,and puts forward protection measures.The paper regards the temple which is an important non residential building type in vernacular architecture as the breakthrough point,focusing on space form and build skills,basing on the research of temple of traditional settlements in Guxin Town,researching temple in view of the architecture on system.It has carried on the comprehensive statistical analysis of key temple architecture and surveying and mapping to the temple in Guxin Town of She County in the first time.Temple buildings in the region were studied systematically from the view of architecture in the first time.Research results fill the gaps in the region temple architecture system research,deepen the understanding of settlements in the temple buildings,and it's for further research on Guxin Town as reference for the protection of the traditional settlements temple buildings.
