Application Of Microhabitat Construction Method In The DesignOf Birds Exhibition Area Of City Zoo

The zoo is one of the components of the urban park system,one of the main links to improve the quality of the city and improve the living environment of the city,and an important node of the urban landscape.With the progress of era,the development of social civilization,social awareness of the nature,animals,and the zoo has already said goodbye to the pure entertainment show.Gradually,it shouldered the mission of education,science,research,etc.People,animals and the natural harmonious coexistence has become the basic idea of the zoo,and "the integrated protection" and "the protection education" has also become the basic functions of the zoo.Now demanded by the modern zoo,animals are put in the first place,and more attention are given to animals living environment of the ecological natural,animal shows have to respect the life of the animal itself and the psychological demand,which makes every effort to show the original animals in nature,creates suitable habitat for animals,and conveys information about animals and their living environment of nature to people.The display design of the zoo is the most direct contact with the zoo visitors,which is a reflection of the zoo general proficiency,and the most solid platform to realize comprehensive protection and protection of education,thus the display design of the zoo is a vital link in the zoo,a direct impact on the protection and the realization of the function of education.This paper selects the most important species of the zoo—birds,and puts forward the design method of zoological exhibition area of zoo birds based on microhabitat.By studying and analyzing the research status of display design at home and abroad and the practical status of bird's display design,beginning from the behavior of birds and the factors may influence their living environment,this paper firstly analyzed the ecological groups of birds in the zoo and one of the most important behavior-feeding behavior and reproductive behavior from the behavior of birds and the related factors that affected the habitat of birds.Secondly,it analyzed four important factors that affect birds' habitat in nature: plants,water source,human disturbance and concealment.Based on the research of the above contents,this paper sums up a natural habitat construction method that creates suitable green habitats for birds,gets rid of the simple green habitat for animal cages habitat construction,lets the landscape elements such as garden plant to follow its mock object landscape type,and makes the garden plants change from decorative plants into a main mode of the construction of the ecological environment of trigger attaches great importance to the people on the basic of meeting the needs of animal's behavior.The environment of zoo exhibition area can meet the needs of birds' survival,at the same time,make the visitors feel empathetic in the process of visiting and enhance their awareness of animal and living environment.Finally,the method of constructing micro-habitat is used to reconstruct the bird exhibition area of Shangfangshan Zoo in Suzhou,and the method is applied in practice.
