| Since the reform and opening up,China has gotten rapid economic development,and the urbanization process is speeding up.Nowadays,A large number of railways that undertook the main transporting function when the New China was founded in the last century have been replaced by more convenient transportation means such as high-speed railway and city expressway,thus a multitude of railways have become the time brand mark as well as urban wastelands.The emergence of railway derelict land has brought about a lot of social problems,such as the waste of land resources,the aggravation of environmental pollution,and the influence on surrounding community public order.The specific research methods of this paper are as follows:The main research object of this project is urban railway abandoned land,located in WuHan,HuBei province.First,the background of the emergence of urban railway derelict land was studied.Second,the significance,purpose and methods of the derelict land reclamation were expounded.Based on the study of elastic landscape theory,greenway theory,sponge city theory and industrial ruins landscape protection theory,the design philosophies and ecological approaches suitable for the site were generalized and summarized.Through field research of the site,project,the reclamation plan was made,and four solutions to the siteproblems were proposed,those are,reserving the landscape of the railway derelict land and developing the site spirit,seeking ecological approaches that can enable the site to flexibly cope with flood disasters and carry out self-rehabilitation,perfecting the network system of urban green land and constructing regional fast channel.In the practical design,the railway derelict land will be rebuilt in four aspects of landscape,function,ecology and culture,the vitality of the site will be activated,and the enormous potential of the railway derelict land will be exploited.Finally,this study as well as problems encountered in the design was summarized.Besides,the feasible ways to handle the problems were concluded.Through recall of the design process,a few opinions on urban railway derelict land reclamation were put forward,hoping to trigger new thoughts for the reclamation. |
