Since the subway is convenient and time-saving,it has become the main traffic tool for citizens in recent years.With the increasing of passenger flow,Passenger Guidance Systems that provide the subway running information become increasingly important.In order to solve the problems of insufficient information and large blind area of Passenger Guidance Systems with LED screen terminal,this project designs a Passenger Guidance System with LCD screen as display terminal,which has a great significance to improve the operation efficiency of the subway and enhances the traveling experience of passengers.Traditional Passenger Guidance Systems adopt the centralized control scheme.In this case,its control units are located in cab,while their LCD screens are located in each passenger compartment and the control units control the display effect of all LCD screens in the subway.The Passenger Guidance System designed in this paper adopts the distributed control scheme,where its Line Map Display Unit(LMDU)is a intelligent screen with a control board which can control the display effect of LCD according to the running state of train.Comparing with the traditional Passenger Guidance System aided by the centralized control scheme,this proposed system adopting the distributed control scheme occupies less network bandwidth and has much better stability and higher reliability.The main content of my research includes two parts:The Passenger Guidance System designed in this paper adopts three kinds of transmission protocol including Multifunction Vehicle Bus(MVB),master/slave RS485 and Ethernet to transmit subway' s running status information.On the basis of analyzing the transmission protocols of each part of the network,I design data frame format for each transport protocol according to interface specification between Train Control Monitor System(TCMS)and Passenger Information System(PIS)and communication protocol between PIS Control Unit(PCU)and Line Map Display Unit(LMDU).I complete the development of TCMS simulator software which can send subway ' s status information according to the time sequence of signal data generated during subway running.Meanwhile,it can not only receive information describing equipment failure and compartment monitoring from PCU,but also display the information mentioned above by Qt widgets.This paper completes the design and development of LMDU software.The LMDU software is designed in modules:the main window module is responsible for switching the display scene.The multicast module is in charge of receiving the subway running status information.Controlling the effect of the whole route scene is achieved by the whole route module,and the local route module controls the effect of the door scene,local route scene and export information scene.During the phase of the Passenger Guidance System being tested on-line,the TCMS simulator achieves the transmission of the subway' s running state information accurately according to the change of the signal data' s time sequence generated when the train is running.After the Line Map Display Unit receiving the train's running status information,it displays the position and status information of the train successfully.The result of displaying is exactly the same as the pre-designed solutions and verify the good performance of the design.
