Research On The Methods Of The Establishment Of The Door-window Library In Conventional Suburban Villages In Hunan Province And Its Application Based On Bim Technology

As far as the marcopolicy is concerned,the conservation and rehabilitation of the conventional suburban village has recently drawn the public's attention,which should be highly valued.While there are certain drawbacks of the previous methods to rehabilitate the conventional suburban buildings,the emergence of new technology has brought hopes to deal with these drawbacks,which can be regarded as a revolution.There are various issues to be solved in relation to the application of the new technology,including the improvement of the methods of rehabilitation,the management of the information about the conventional suburban buildings and the preservation of its architectural style and regional culture.The essay illustrates the methodology of establishing the door-window library(DWL)and its implementation.The library,in other w ords,is the database of the characteristics of doors and windows.The essay is based on the research on the members like windows and doors specifically in the context of regional features in Hunan Province with the assistance of BIM.The conventional subu rban buildings in Hunan can be appreciated in a clearer way by establishing the DWL.Moreover,the library also evokes the new ideas about the methods of conserving the conventional suburban buildings.Furthermore,the prospective of the feasible technical strategies and the future development trend can be conceptualized via the analysis of the utilization of the DWL.By the means of investigation,surveying and mapping and analysis,the essay illustrates the methodology of the establishment of the DWL and its application logic in terms of the conventional suburban villages in Hunan,which is based on the BIM technology.The content in each chapter is shown as followed:(1)Acquire the basic knowledge of the research,the current domestic and overseas status,the basic concepts of BIM technology;and illustrate the theoretical purposes of this essay and the structure of the research.(2)Summarize the characteristics of windows and doors in the conventional suburban buildings in Hunan in terms of the categori es,sizes,composing members,and crafting techniques.The integrated database is the corner stone for the following chapters of the essay.(3)Illustrate the mechanism of the classification of the doors and windows in conventional suburban buildings in Hunan based on taxology.Analyze the relationship between the methods of classification and the mechanism of library planning in BIM and establish a link between the two aspects so that the logic of door-window classification will be synchronized to the logi c of BIM classification.(4)Elaborate the methods of information modeling and operating procedures.The door-window library will be established according to the previous chapter.This will be exemplified by some of the conventional suburban buildings in w estern Hunan.(5)Analyze the methods of utilizing the DWL and provide the operation strategies and trends of the technical development.Finally,the synopsis of the essay will be summarized,while the innovative ideas from the research and the essay will be analyzed.Hopefully,this essay will be able to provide some feasible methods for conserving and rehabilitating the conventional suburban buildings.
