In China,with the rapid development of industry,industrial parks have experienced explosive growth and become the new economic growth point in the park.Many industrial parks have achieved very good economic benefits.The governments of all regions regard the construction of industrial parks as a new impetus for the development of regional economies.As an important guarantee for the development of industrial parks,the construction of electric power facilities has become particularly important.Smart substations are an important intermediate link in the construction of power facilities.The technical level of smart substations directly affects the level of power facilities construction in industrial parks.Therefore,systematic research on the design of smart substations in industrial parks and the formation of advanced and reasonable design plans are of great significance to the construction of electric power in industrial parks.On the one hand,smart substations increase the reliability of power supply in industrial parks,and on the other hand,they reduce the later operation and maintenance costs of electric power equipment in the park by improving the degree of equipment intelligence.This paper studies the design and application of 110 kV smart substations in industrial parks.Firstly,load forecasting and power balance were completed.The analysis of access points existing around the newly-built substations was performed.Comparisons were made between the schemes and recommended solutions were given.Corresponding electrical calculations were performed for the recommended and alternative solutions,and the calculation results were analyzed.On the basis of the recommended scheme of the access system,a primary design of the electrical system was carried out,including the main electrical wiring,the electrical general plane and the power distribution device,the main equipment selection,the overvoltage protection and the insulation coordination,the selection of the conductor cross-section,and the equipment selection.When choosing intelligent equipment,the overall intelligence level of the substation is improved.Then on the basis of a design,the secondary design of the electrical system was carried out,including system relay protection and safety automatic device,system scheduling automation,substation automation system,component protection and automatic device,AC-DC integrated power supply system and other secondary System design,substation intelligence is mainly reflected in the secondary design and equipment selection,while the use of theexchange control cabinet,exchange control cabinet and protection,monitoring and control devices using optical cable connection.At the same time,prefabricated cable and cable technology was used to realize the standardized connection between primary equipment and secondary equipment,which improved the efficiency of secondary cable construction and significantly shortened the construction period.According to the actual needs of the industrial park,a reliable and economical smart substation design technology plan was determined.
