Research On The Construction System Of Light Wood Structure Reengineering In Zhejiang Folk House

Zhejiang province reserves many villages that obtain great natural landscape.By studying the traditional residential houses of the province,the author has found that even within one province,the cultures of its north,south,east coast and west areas are quite different.The methods of building residential houses are also different.Therefore,the author further studied on the planes,traditional construction systems and methods and try to analyze them in details with specific cases.Based on the field survey and mapping of the villages and materials,combined with real-site construction,the author tries to make some deep analysis on the construction system of light wooden structure in Zhejiang province and make a summary with an efficient,localized and feasible structures,which can be important prototypes for the renovation of the old houses and construction of the new ones.Finally,through the interpretation of relevant national laws,regulations and policies,the concept of modular construction system was put forward.The construction system of the traditional houses was considered to be divided into five parts: the base,column grid,beams,walls and roofs.Each part has a suitable designed module interval and safe construction methods.Then taking the example of the renovation of an old house in Ninghai,the traditional beams were modified and the new idea of light wood structure from abroad was applied on a vernacular project.As a result,the traditional construction method and space experience have been improved and the function requirements for modern life have been satisfied.Light wood frame construction system in our country is still under exploration and experiment.We need to combine national policy and practical light wood frame construction system in order to achieve more economic,environmental friendly,more livable and more convenient utility.
