| The aging of population has become one of the major population issues in China.The expansion and development of old-age residential areas in the future is an inevitable trend.Older people will have higher and higher requirements for the landscape environmental quality of residential areas.The ideal green space environment in old-age settlements is an important factor for attracting older people to contact with nature,participate in social activities,and conduct various outdoor activities.It is of great significance for improving the quality of life and subjective well-being of the elderly.China’s research and practice on the plant landscape of old-age settlements are still at the primary stage.There are many deficiencies,which can not satisfy the old people’s satisfaction with the living environment.The exploration and research on the plant landscape design of the old-age residential area is imminent.The paper firstly studies and analyzes the special physiological,psychological and behavioral activities of the elderly.At the same time,it analyzes the spatial classification and configuration of plant landscapes and their functions in old-age residential areas.Secondly,the plant species composition,planting status of flowering plants,color leaf plants,aromatic plants,and plant landscapes in each functional area were fully investigated and analyzed in Fuzhou,and the characteristics of the application of plant species in old-age residential areas in Fuzhou were summarized.And the lack of configuration,put forward the corresponding optimization recommendations.Finally,on the basis of the case study,the principles of plant landscape design and the general procedures and methods for the planting design of the old-age settlements in Fuzhou are proposed.At the same time,combined with the previous analysis of the needs of the elderly on the sense of security,neighborhood,comfort and barrier-free environment,put forward the strategy of plant landscape design for old-age settlements,and provide some theoretical references for the landscape design of old-age residential areas in Fuzhou. |
