The "New channel" design and social innovation project has been established for nearly ten years.During this time,video has been given an important tool of projects communication and exchange,which have produced a large number of video works with regional and cultural features based on that projects requirements.As the most authentic,effective,and comprehensive method of recording the intangible cultural heritages,video bring the intangible cultural heritages to the audience with the form of audiovisual arts,and users can feel the charm of the intangible cultural heritages more effectively through multimedia.In the rapid development of the Internet era,it is of great practical significance to expand the scope of "the intangible heritage video,by the power of the Internet,and let them come out of the specific areas and folk groups and spread to wider audiences.The author adopts the practice method of "market research-case analysis-status assessment-location remolding-design optimization" to do some investigations.Then surveying several typical spread channels of "the intangible heritage video",combined with many cases,analyze the suitable dissemination models for "intangible heritage video" under the current Internet environment.By the aid of these results,analyzed the current situation of "New channel" video.And proposed the idea of transforming the New-Channel video communication platform into a video communication platform integrating storage,browse and dissemination.In the practice period,firstly,to evaluate the current video communication platform from the five elements of users' experience.Secondly,to redefine and comb the applicable scenes and target groups according to the targets of the current video communication platform,determined the basis of design optimization.And then,reorganized the information architecture and using process of the video communication platform.According to the trend of webpage design and the visual style of the "New channel" website,determined the tonal preference of the video communication platform,and the visual design of the interface is finally completed.After the design is completed,invite target users for usability testing,so as to know their cognition,attitude and operational feelings of the video communication platform.Finally,output the design specification to convenience the future designers understand the original intention and concept and consistency can be maintained in subsequent design,so that the overall design can be extended on a unified basis.At the end of this paper,it summarizes the problems arising from the design optimization practice and also brings up suggestions and prospects for future development of the video communication platform.
