Research On The Construction Skills Of Traditional Dwelling Of Wooden Structure In The County Of Tianzhen,North Of Shanxi Province

Local traditional dwellings and their construction skills are valuable cultural heritages,which play an important role in the development of contemporary architecture.Under the current wave of social and economic development,the traditional folk houses are disappearing fast,and the craftsmen are facing the problems of inheriting,and the construction skills are also facing the endangered situation.Therefore,it is very urgent to study traditional folk houses and their construction techniques.This paper adopts the method of field investigation,building surveying and mapping,artisan interview and system analysis,and carries out the research on the traditional folk houses with four parts in Tianzhen county.The first is an overview of the natural environment and historical humanity of tianzhen county,which to summarize the formation environment of traditional dwellings.The second is the research on the local traditional dwellings,summarizes the different forms of the courtyard,and makes a detailed analysis of the facade features,structural system and structural nodes of the building.The third is research on the construction skills of traditional dwelling of wooden structure in this area,accounted and summarized all the steps in the process from planning at the beginning until the completion at the last,with an emphasis on the wooden construction.The fourth is the study of local traditional construction craft heritage protection,outlines the evolution of the local traditional arts since modern times,analyzes the plight of the status quo,and put forward the feasible methods specifically of traditional skills inheritance.Through the systematic research and analysis,it is proved that the traditional folk houses in Tianzhen county reflect the regional characteristics of the northern border of Shanxi province,which is an integral part of the diversity of Chinese traditional folk houses.At the same time,the traditional construction technology in Tianzhen shows strong local characteristics-scientific and flexible.Finally,also can make us realize that local traditional construction craft is a dynamic culture.We should respect its integrity and living condition,put the protection of this heritage into the development of the times,to make the traditional craft maintain viable.
