With the rapid development of our society,the application of crane as a heavy machinery is more and more widely used,the high performance requirements for the cranes are put forward.Therefore,the light weight design are also attracting more and more attention.Except for high lifting height,large operating range and heavy lifting load.The purpose of this study is to ensure the crane satisfies certain reliability,reduce its weight,thus saving the cost;the development of crawler crane parametric design system,the system can be based on user input the actual working parameters and load parameters,convenient finite element static analysis of the boom,the analysis results can be a reference relevant technical personnel for the design,in order to improve the design efficiency,reduce development costs,and optimize the size and structure of the boom boom,in order to improve the mechanical properties,reduce manufacturing cost.The parametric analysis for crane boom was carried out by ANSYS finite element analysis software.The mainly works are as follows:(1)The theory and technology used for the parametric analysis of the boom were studied;(2)The three dimensional finite element model of the crane boom was establish in ANSYS software,and the static analysis was carried out;(3)Based on static analysis results,the reliability analysis of the arm was carried out;(4)The optimization design module of ANSYS was used to optimize the design of the arm frame;(5)A parametric analysis software for the arm was developed based on VB and ANSYS in the last part of this thesis;(6)The conclusion wad given and some deficiencies in the research were discussed.The research methods of this paper can provide some reference for the lightweight crane structure design,and the method also has some versatility,for mechanical products difficult to establish the mathematical model of optimization design,provides a convenient,practical and effective technical means,and this is where the significance of this study.
