In the construction of the hoisting machinery, according to its structure and performanceof different, generally can be divided into the small light lifting equipment, bridge type crane,Jib crane and cable crane four categories. And Jib crane is mainly divided into stationaryslewing crane, tower crane, truck cranes, cranes, crawler cranes.As one of the automobile crane jib cranes are popular because of its good mobility andflexibility. And as an important part of the truck, crane telescopic boom is the main forcemember.Crane the suspension load directly through the telescopic arm, to achieve the job ofdifferent amplitude and height. Telescopic boom mounted directly on the turntable in theupper arm with a lifting wire rope pulley block and hook institutions by tilt and telescopichydraulic cylinders to change the working amplitude. Telescopic boom design is reasonable ornot directly affects the carrying capacity of the crane and machine performance.The main research content includes the following five aspects:Firstly, based on the lifting arm crane as the research object, using ANSYS as a tool, usethe parametric design language (APDL) for a further research, established a special designsystem for truck crane telescopic boom, including parametric modeling, loading and finiteelement analysis process.Secondly, declared macro definition in ANSYS, created new toolbars and establishedcorrespondence between the telescopic arm macro and each module button, and alsodeveloped a man-machine interface for this kind of similarity model’s analysis and design.Thirdly, extracted the geometry parameters of the lifting arm, established a typicaltelescopic boom analytical model of truck crane by this scripting language of APDL, and allparameters of the boom has input window interface, and can be modified easily, which alsoapplied the parameterized thought..Fourthly, Given a structure static analysis of lifting arm of crane respectively under thethree different cases, verified the structure strength and stiffness of the lifting arm, and at thesame time, given the finite element modal analysis based on the static analysis boom of thecrane, get the boom vibration parameters like mode shapes and the corresponding the mainfrequency, and provided a theoretical basis for the design and improvement of the crane arm. Finally, taken the telescopic arm of QY20C truck crane as an example, verified thepracticability and reliability of the system under the three kinds of specific conditions.
