With the development of the times,the elderly are eager for the health and longevity,but also hope that the quality of life and spiritual and cultural life balanced development.At present the community focus on the elderly attention tend to focus on living needs,spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly has not attracted widespread attention,the old school as an important part of the old public buildings,an important carrier of the aged education,we should pay more attention to."the elderly have the right to continue their education.The state develops the old age education,encourages the society to run each kind of old age school".Therefore,how to construct the old school building space to meet the spiritual needs of the elderly is the focus of this paper.In this paper,the elderly mental model as the starting point,character and personality development and other aspects of the elderly students enter old age after the focus on training,the choice of building space old school as the research object,focuses on the behavior of self respect and encouragement of social return.Based on active aging theory,analysis the common features and problems existing in the psychological and behavioral characteristics and social aspects of the elderly students,combined with the old school building space research,to put forward for design and research of the architectural space design schools for the elderly elderly students psychological characteristics.The first chapter is the introduction part,the research background,purpose and significance on the basis of introduction,and put forward the research object and general framework;the second chapter and the third chapter is the part of problem analysis,which focuses on the theoretical analysis and research,the former of old school principal use are introduced,and the analysis of its psychology the characteristics of the latter,investigating the information collected for old school analysis and problems;the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter are put forward respectively on the part of strategy,the elderly students diverse teaching space and active communication space to solve the problem of the building space design strategy,the former senior students,self focused,eager to exchange presents learning space design strategy of flexibility,diversity,openness,the latter will create interactive opportunity,make up and heart function decline In several aspects,the paper puts forward the multiple choice,accessibility and emotional communication space design strategy.The sixth chapter is the summary of the future research prospects and the problems in this study.
