| With the promotion of quality education in primary school in China, the disadvantages of the traditional primary school teaching space emerge gradually. On the one hand, the traditional primary school teaching space can’t bear to carry out various forms of teaching of quality education. On the other hand, under the context that land resources in the urban are scarcer increasingly, the requirement that the quality education need to expand teaching space area will never be achieved if we don’t break the design of traditional teaching space. Under such background, this paper attempts to explore the strategy that how to design the layout, the combination of units and the atmosphere of the new primary school teaching space.Firstly, in this paper, through the analysis of the main factors effect on the primary school teaching space design, the characteristics that the primary school teaching were summed up. Then, the traditional primary school in China and relevant norms were be analyzed from three layer, including the layout, combination of units and atmosphere of primary school teaching space, and the corresponding design strategy were presented. Finally, based on the project of Nanjing Foreign Language School in Yanziji, the design strategies were practiced in the primary school teaching buildings as a practical verification. |
