Research On The Selection Of Transport Route For Eurasia Land Bridge Based On Customer Demand

Because of the "One Belt and One Road" strategy,China and European countries have a more convenient mode of transportation,China Railway Express,for the trade.In the aspect of economy,not only does China Railway Express promote the trade between China and European countries,but also brings development opportunities to the countries which are located around New Eurasian Land Bridge.On the other hand,China Railway Express solves the problem of the high cost of air transportation and long period of maritime transport in the aspect of freight capacity.In addition,it promotes the domestic rail transportation.Although the development prospect of CR express is good,it is still at an exploratory stage currently.Many freight forwarders do not regard CR express as a part of the supply chain.Furthermore,a huge number of freight companies have a low capability because they cannot find a good position for themselves in general.For instance,XK company,which occupies the half market share of the European freight business,only can maintain its business on CR express now.What is more,XK company sometime will push the risk of freight delay to customers irresponsibly during the cargo transportation.This behavior not only fails to increase the freight price,but also damages the corporate's reputation.Consequently,how to increase the customers' satisfaction for freight service and reduce the operation cost on CR express are the urgently problems which must to be solved for the XK corporation.In order to promote the operation status of freight companies in CR express and improve their ability of freight operation,this paper's research object is the XK's selection of the transportation route in CR express.Firstly,this paper investigates the current operational status of XK's freight business in CR express,analyzes and summarized the XK corporation's operation flow and freight route selection in CR express.According to the analysis,Then,from the perspective of improving freight capacity and reducing freight costs for freight forwarders,a freight route selection model with customer time requirements can be established for the freight business in CR express.Finally,this paper will verify the practicality and effectiveness of the model based on examples,calculations and exact data.
