Study On The Adaptability And Renewal Of Earth-made Houses In Gan Dong Village,Mayang County,Western Hunan

Rural housing as a major component of China's housing system,related research focuses on the evolution of traditional settlements,research on the renewal of traditional ecological building materials and traditional ecological dwelling forms are Relatively less.This study took a sample of Gandong Village in Mayang County,Research-Analysis-Summary-Improvement-Design as a research idea,through on-thespot investigation,analysis and research of Gandong Village,collected a large number of drawings and interviews,in-depth study of earth construction in the area,In order to explore the continuation and development of earth construction and the development and renovation of earth housing,expect to provide the modernized transformation and application of Traditional ecological building materials and earth housing with reference,To protect and inherit the outstanding architectural cultural heritage of Xiangxi area.Gandong Village is located in Guogongping Township,Mayang Miao Autonomous County,Xiangxi,the main form of the dwelling houses is the earth housing,In the rainy and humid Xiangxi area,the earth housing with weak water resistance and durability show a clear mismatch with it.has become a unique residential form in Xiangxi.The study of adaptability and renewal of indigenous villages in Gandong Village can effectively respond to the purpose of modern renewal and development of indigenous communities.This study will gradually develop from the following parts:(1)By analyzing the main characteristics of the environment and the self-built housing in Gandong Village,summarizes the reasons why the housing of Gandong villagers are unique in terms of materials,forms and styles;(2)Investigate and record the traditional techniques of materials used in Gandong Village during the spontaneous construction process,discover the advantages and disadvantages of traditional construction techniques,and explore breakthroughs in the modernization of traditional technologies and traditional building materials;(3)Explain the Vertical and horizontal evolution of the earth housing in Gandong Village from residential development in all ages and types,Summarize the development trajectory of local self-built housing;(4)Summarizing the problems and challenges in the evolution of earth housing,Using it as a starting point to form a modern adaptive updating strategy for earth housing,and conduct design exploration to provide viable updated ideas and case references for the modern transformation of traditional native dwellings.Through the above research,this study forms the following results:(1)Summarized the reasons for the formation of Earth construction in Gandong Village in Xiangxi,and introduced the background of the evolution of indigenous villages in Gandong Village;(2)Systematic records the traditional construction techniques of Gandong Village and provides a key regulatory entry point for the future adaptation of earth housing in terms of building materials and construction technology;(3)Summarized the problems in the process of the evolution of earth housing in Gandong villagers,and put forward the renewal strategies in the form,layout,structure,construction technology,tectonic,and veneer protection of earth houses,and conducted pilot demonstrations of housing.provide a reference for the modernization of traditional houses...
