Research On The Urban Road Building Interface Morphology

Urban quality refers to the taste and quality of a city.There are many factors that determine urban quality,and the urban building interface is the most intuitive feeling about a city.Vision is the most direct way to perceive the interface shape of urban buildings.The building interface with good and proper transparency often makes 'people happy.Behind this phenomenon,there must be visual differences in preferences.Environmental Psychology is an interdisciplinary subject among Architecture,Behavioral Science and Psychology.It is mainly to study the relationship between the need,desires,emotions and psychological mechanisms of human,and environment or architecture.As an effective experimental way to study Environmental Psychology,the eye tracker has been widely used abroad.In this paper,the urban building interface was introduced into the eye tracking experiment for the first time.Taking some road construction interface in Hangzhou as the research object,the eye tracking data of testes when they were watching the urban building interface morphology were recorded through the eye tracker experiment to explore their motivation in the choice of the building interface.Through the eye tracking experiment,it was found that testes liked good building interface morphology.The eye tracking data of testes such as viewing time,blink frequency and pupillary size were greater when they were watching good building interface morphology.In addition,there was obvious consistency between the eye tracking data and the items in the questionnaires that they were directly proportional.According to the results of the experimental investigation,people liked the spatial form of the building interface with good permeability better.Through the relevant design strategy.which was drawn in the building interface permeability experiment,it was hoped to provide some reference for the design of the building interface morphology.
