Under the background of the era dominated by the market economic system, cultural architecture plays an important position in the function of urban space, and continues to develop in space construction, construction strategy and cultural inheritance, forming a public building type that is not only rooted in regional places, but also can provide tourists with a good sense of space. In China, with the rapid development of national economy and the comprehensive guarantee of people’s basic living facilities, the public’s demand for urban art and culture is also increasing. The single function design strategy of traditional cultural architecture with exhibition viewing as the core has been difficult to match this demand.Based on the above situation, the current design of cultural buildings is gradually transforming towards the characteristics of high efficiency, intensification and publicity, forming a place that gathers multi-cultural experience, contains composite space organization, serves the exhibition crowd well, and optimizes the public vitality around the site, resulting in the architectural type of cultural complex. At the same time, with the commercialization of urban land and the rapid development of the real estate industry, the development of a single plot is often driven by economic profit, with house price, cost control and plot ratio as the main design guidance, resulting in the fracture of function, texture and spatial scale between relevant land, resulting in significant population, space use function contradiction. In order to create an overall and continuous urban space system,it is necessary to effectively integrate these contradictions in order to realize the harmonious development of urban space. As an important part of the spatial sequence of the cultural complex, the composite urban interface is the place for its handover and transition with the surrounding plots. It is not only the constituent content of the spatial form of the cultural complex, but also includes the boundary space of the surrounding plots,so that the contradictions between the surrounding plots are also reflected in the site sequence of the cultural complex, which has a negative impact on the coherence and integrity of its internal cultural activities. In this research, the author first lays a theoretical foundation for the research by analyzing and defining the three core concepts of cultural complex, composite urban interface and spatial integration, and then makes an all-round interpretation of the morphological paradigm composition of cultural complex, the spatial system function of composite urban interface and the practical application strategy of spatial integration theory one by one,Supported by a large number of practical cases, this paper discusses the spatial problems caused by the contradiction of cultural complex based on composite city interface, excavates its feasible spatial integration mode, and obtains the spatial integration strategy of cultural complex based on composite city interface from the aspect of theoretical research;Through the conclusions of theoretical research and scheme design,it can be seen that from the perspective of spatial integration, the cultural complex has good integration effect and cultural orientation on the composite urban interface and the urban system, and can respond well to the context, landscape, traffic and other factors of the site in terms of form and spatial type,The research results have the potential as the design strategy paradigm of cultural complex. Therefore, the author hopes to provide a reference path for the design of contemporary urban space public cultural architecture types from the perspective of the results of this study.
