Along with the development and maturation of network communication technology,information technology and microelectronic technology,the automation of substation system has rapidly increased.Especially the issue of globally recognized IEC 61850 standard pushes the intelligence of substation into a substantive phase.Using advanced,reliable,integrated,low-carbon and environmental-friendly intelligent equipment,with digitization of whole-substation information,networking of communication platform and standardization of information sharing as its basic requirements,intelligent substation automatically completes fundamental functions such as information collection,measurement,control,protection,computation,monitoring,etc.Upon request,it can also support advanced functions such as real-time automatic grid control,intelligent adjustment,online analysis and decision,interactive collaboration,etc.,making it able to interact with adjacent substations and power dispatching.Messages of intelligent substation based on IEC 61850 standard protocol are the blood of the substation,which play an important role in connection.They are functionally divided into GOOSE messages used for transmitting messages of remote signals and tripping,SV messages used for transmitting analogs of current and voltage,and MMS messages used for communicating in the substation control level.Therefore,study on the relevant network configurations and application of messages of intelligent substation is significant for the development of intelligent substations.Taking Yintang Substation as an example,the article makes a study on the networks and message formats of the substation by analyzing the existing network configurations and messages.The major tasks are explicated as follows:(1)The article conducts a study on the contents and the design concepts of the intelligent substation,as well as IEC 61850 standard protocol.Starting by information element method and taking GOOSE message as an example for analysis,the article divides the message into two parts,namely the message header and PDU,and makes a discussion on them respectively.With the use of message software,the article designs and actualizes the information element method,and then reviews its advantages and disadvantages.(2)According to the layers of network structure of the substation,the article makes an optimized selection respectively from the following seven perspectives:layers of substation,communication service model,rate selection of Ethernet,time synchronization,network topology,MMS messages,GOOSE messages and SV messages,as well as time synchronization network and switch configuration.At last,the most optimized network and equipment configuration for Yintang Substation are set up.(3)The article makes a detailed study on the analysis methods of MMS messages,GOOSEmessages and SV messages of intelligent substation,and demonstrates the analysis process of MMS messages,GOOSE messages and SV messages in combination with the field application,which has certain instructive effect on the running,maintenance and defect elimination for the intelligent substation.(4)This paper expounds the application effect of the Yintang Substation,and puts forward some suggestions for improvement according to the problems existing in the actual operation.The analysis in the article is closely related to Yintang Substation and of a certain theoretical and practical significance,which offers very useful reference and experience for the subsequent construction of other intelligent substations in Zhangzhou.
