Communication Network System And Its Application Of Intelligent Substation

The smart grid is the future development direction of electric power industry, in promoting the construction of smart grid, digital substation in the future will become the mainstream of the new substation. Chinese continued strong growth of the national economy as well as the unique needs of facing our grid created special China Electricity market environment has brought new challenges and to China power enterprises. IEC61850Communication Networks and systems in substations is network communication protocol for IED equipment in the transformer substation of international standards and International Electro technical Commission in order to adapt to the rapid development of power industry, the efficient sharing interoperability, engineering integration needs, but also the implementation of substation intelligent only guiding international standard. Constructing a communication network system meet the performance requirements of intelligent substation and the functional requirements of the premise, is the construction of smart substation, the substation work relates to specific communication protocol stack development, network equipment, network, communication performance analysis etc.Based on the substation Tianjin Qianmiqiao intelligent220kV as an example analyzes the structure characteristics of IEC61850specification, the design of intelligent substation communication network system, and intelligent substation modeling, network rules etc. Combined with the three communication network transmission mode (MMS,GOOSE, SMV) to realize the similarities and differences, discussed and implementation mechanism of the related requirements in practical engineering application, and specifically responsible for the construction of the station of MMS network. MMS network is mainly used for equipment at bay level and station level communication between devices, the reaction of substation’s basic information and value of service function, provide technical guarantee for the stable operation of substation.
