Rural highway is an important infrastructure to support and guide rural economic development and social progress.However,the construction level and maintenance level of rural roads in China are very different from those of trunk roads,and rural roads are often in a state of overload.These problems lead to the emergence of road damage and disease and the gradual degradation of the use of performance,which will affect the normal use of roads.In order to make the highway management department more accurately evaluate the performance of existing rural roads and adopt scientific and effective decision-making methods to guide the road maintenance work,this paper has carried on the research on the evaluation of existing highway use performance and conservation measures in rural area,main research contents are as follows:(1)Research on the current situation of rural highway research at home and abroad and the use performace of rural highway in China.Combined with the actual situation of rural research in China,this paper systematically combs the technical specifications of rural roads and the research achievements of rural roads at home and abroad,analyzes the causes of common diseases in rural roads,sums up the influencing factors of rural road performance in China,which lays the foundation for the in-depth study of the paper.(2)Research on the evaluation index system of existing highway quality in China rural areas.Based on the existing index system of “highway technology status assessment standard”,combined with the existing rural road disease,this paper systematically analyzes the factors affecting the performance of existing roads and optimizes the index system,finally establishes the performance evaluation index system suitable for rural areas.In this paper,the technical condition evaluation index and standard of roadbed,pavement,and bridge and culvert structure of rural highway are analyzed,and the determination of each index value is described in detail.(3)Research on the model of existing highway performance evaluation in rural areas.Based on the characteristics of qualitative and quantitative assessment methods and their applicability,combined with the characteristics of rural road performance evaluation,this paper constructs a comprehensive evaluation model of existing highway performance in rural areas of China based on set pair analysis theory.In particular,the weights are determined by the variable weight model,which is more consistent with the characteristics of rural road damage.In this paper,the variable weight model is constructed on the basis of unascertained rational number to determine the weight of constant weight,and the feasibility and applicability of the model are verified by practical cases.(4)Research on the existing highway maintenance measures in rural areas.Based on the road pavement and roadbed,this paper studies the decision-making technology of the existing highway in the countryside.Based on the analysis of conservation needs and the choice of conservation measures,the paper also discusses the decision-making process of rural road maintenance and introduces the related maintenance measures according to the typical types of pavement diseases,which provide a reference for related rural road maintenance agencies.It is beneficial to the rural highway management department to evaluate and mastery the overall performance of rural roads,so as to carry out the maintenance and management of rural roads in a targeted way to effectively extend the service life of the roads.
