Study On The Site Selection And Layout Of Chaohu Lake Wetland Parks

Wetland,forest and the ocean collectively known as the Earth's three major ecosystems,plays an important role in maintaining biodiversity,degrading pollutants and regulating regional climate.Wetland is known as "kidney of the earth","the source of fresh water","species gene pool".In recent years,with the continuous growth of population and the rapid development of economy,predatory exploitation and utilization of wetlands has led to the rapid reduction of the area and quantity of wetland in China,and the function of wetland ecosystem has been greatly weakened.Chaohu Lake is an important wetland in China.In the past,reclaiming farmland from lakes causes Chaohu Lake wetland system seriously destroied.Chaohu Wetland Parks is one of the important measures to rescue the Chaohu wetland.In order to better protect the wetlands,the location and layout of the wetland parks are the basic work of the planning and construction of wetland parks,which need carried out by Chaohu Lake municipal governments actively.This paper takes the wetland surrounded by Chaohu Lake as the object of study.Based on the study of the protection,planning and construction experience of wetland parks at home and abroad,this paper studies the location and layout of Chaohu Lake Wetland Parks.In this way,preservation and renovation of wetland could be promoted,biodiversity secured,ecological civilization and tourism enhanced.Overall,Chaohu Lake Wetland Parks would be an important tourist destination.This paper contains such research results as following:Based on the field investigation and historical data of the Chaohu Lake area,the present situation of the wetland in the Chaohu Lake area is summarized.By analyzing and comparing the history and present situation of the lake,river and biodiversity in the Chaohu Lake area,it is concluded that the Chaohu Lake wetland are facing lots of problems,such as shrinking wetlands,river ecological function decline,biodiversity decline and loss of Wetland culture.This paper analyzes the factors influencing the site selection of the Chaohu Lake Wetland Parks from the perspective of the current situation of land use,hydrological factors,scenic resources and socio-economic factors in the development of urban and tourism,and the traffic factors.Combined with ecological sensitivity analysis of the Chaohu Lake area,the ecological sensitivity of the study area was evaluated comprehensively,and the site of the Chaohu Lake Wetland Parks was optimized.This paper puts forward the four principles of the site selection of the Chaohu Lake Wetland Parks: comprehensive and rationality,scientificity and objectivity,simplicity and wide adapTab.ility,specificity and pertinence,determine the site selection process,and finally determine the Chaohu Lake area the planning of ten wetland parks.According to the current inflow and outflow of Chaohu Lake,current conditions of wetland,social economic base around the wetland,and the purpose of building a Wetland Park,an integral utilization of wetland resources is constructed,which is to create a park system of three levels,national,provincial and municipal,forming Wetland Parks with “clear rivers flowing into Chaohu Lake,golden road connecting wetland parks”.Based on current water quality of the eastern half of Chaohu Lake(grade III)and the western half of Chaohu Lake(grade V),with the aim of purification,4 wetland parks(1national,2provincial and 1municipal)are to be built in the eastern half,6 wetland parks(3 national,2 provincial and 1 municipal)in western half,among which a series of key program with5 bases,5 parks and 8 museums is to be constructed.
