Research On The Mode Of Protection And Renovation Of Dao-wai Historical And Cultural Blocks In Harbin

Historical culture is a soul of city, and historical block is carrier of the historical culture. With the development of urbanization and the implementation of market economic system, urban construction is accelerateing, which brings threats and challenges to the protect and update of historical and cultural blocks. A city is formed of four elements constitute including physical environment, economic, social and cultural. Therefore, four aspects should be studied comprehensivly for protecting and updateing of historical and cultural blocks, which is to protect material form, to stimulate economic vitality, to promote the history culture and to chieve social equity.Traditional mode of protecting and updateing historical and cultural blocks includeing static protected mode and large-scale model, but they are all not conducive to protect and update mode of historical and cultural blocks. To explore a positive and effective model of protecting and updateing historical and cultural blocks is significant.Dao Wai historical and cultural blocks in Harbin as a microcosm of China's historical and cultural blocks has many problems. In this paper, exploring the traditional protection and update mode of Dao Wai historical and cultural blocks in Harbin will provide some reference for other domestic historical and cultural blocks.According to the logical order of preliminary research - to propose questions - analysis the problem , this thesis studied relevant theories to solve the problem step by step. Firstly, Paper studied the examples of protecting and updateing mode of historical and cultural blocks in home and abroad and conducted summarized experiences. Based on visits and literature reviews of Dao Wai historical and cultural blocks, this paper proposes the problem of it. Secondly, this paper analysis the problem of Dao Wai historical and cultural blocks and reasons of it in current, as well as explores the ideal protection and update mode. Finally, based on the analysis of status quo and the study of model, from various aspects of economic and physical environment, social cultural, culture, business model, this paper proposed countermeasure of protecting and updateing Dao Wai historical and cultural blocks in Harbin.By studying examples of Dao Wai historical and cultural blocks, this paper aims to solve problems of the protection and update of historical and cultural blocks, and proposes a ideal model of the sustainable development of historical and cultural blocks.
