Charpter I Introduction outlines background hereof,the relevant subjects in study,aims and meanings of research,inclusive of methods and logic systems.Chapter II Strategy Formulation and Literature Review review some supporting theories that include something about 10 strategic schools,importance of strategy management,analytical process,etc.Furthermore,it moves on to the relevant strategic theories including strategic drives in competition,static competition,and dynamic competition.How to evaluate a strategy as a good one or a bad one is a main part in this chapter.A model so-called "PDFA+V" is built up to prove being effective in four strategic procedures.Charpter III About Company X and her strategy introduce in brief her history of company X in the past more than twenty years,and her main business including the passenger and cargo liners.Some results are obtained by means of SWOT.Strategic background of Company X focuses on a latent opportunity when the cruise market is booming in China with the economic development,the reasons why the company X will turn her target to cruise business,and the current situation of cruise business in the developed countries and areas.Depending on actual Status of"Cruise business",Parent-company trys to find some supports to involve in the cruise business in future.Company X made a preliminary strategy relative to ferry business,and the vision,path and schedule.Charpter IV The Evaluation of Strategy of Company X intends to find out possibility and problems in this strategy based on the strategy theory in the previous charpters,esp."PDFA+V" strategic models.Charpter V Conclusion mentions what is gotten finally after the evaluation of strategy of company X and some modification and suggestion to the Strategy of Company X will be brought forth.
