The Risk Control Research About EPC Mode Of Zambia MCL Power Station Project

This article takes Zambia MCL thermal power plant as an example,based on the theory of risk management.On the basis of confirmation of characteristics,targets and principles of risk management,further studies the risk management process of oversea EPC projects and probes into the tools and methods of EPC project risk management and control,which provides theoretical support for risk assessment and control of Zambia MCL project.The elaboration in this article combined the author's personnel work experience,quoted large amount of risk cases facing during project execution.And by using the theory of risk management,analyzes the risks from three aspects:Engineering,Procurement and Construction.And also put forward effective methods of risk control that are aimed to provide reference for oversea EPC projects,especially for general contracting of Southern Africa EPC thermal power plant projects,to make project risk warning in order,striving to reduce the risk loss of China electrical enterprise oversea EPC projects to the minimum.Through scientific and normative control of risk resources to improve the abilities of foreign-related risk assessment and circumvention of China electrical enterprises,promote the core competitiveness and profit space of China electrical enterprises.The role of Oversea project risk management is particularly important.Domestic foreign-related enterprises shall take advantage of risk management system in order to achieve better risk control.This article focus on the whole process of risk management during project construction life cycle,analyzes the problems and corresponding risk coping measures in the course of oversea project risk management.The risk management of Oversea thermal power plant project also is a dynamic process.With the progress of the project,in different stage,construction condition will be various and the difference of the risk category will be huge,because of which the risk management methods shall be adjusted accordingly.Various risks have influences with each other,each linkage of risk management also is interacting which requires us to make comprehensively disposal.This article is divided into four chapters,analyzes the processes and methods of riskmanagement for oversea electrical projects from the shallower to the deeper.In the fourth chapter,the detailed planning scheme and measures for risk management and control scheme are proposed,basically covering the entire process of the experienced projects of the author.
