In large system of city,its components included layout of urban space,land development and utilization and transportation system interact and influence each other.Trunk road plays a decisive role in urban development.The internal and external development of urban structure always extends along urban trunk road of high traffic accessibility.Because of large population and relatively nervous land resources in our country,high density and intensity development is still the main mode pursued by many cities.Therefore,in the case of the limited road resources,it is necessary to give a further analysis of the traffic flow influence under high density and intensity development on both sides of trunk road,and study appropriate optimization strategy to improve the traffic capacity in trunk road.As the landmark road of city,trunk road is urban inner transportation artery which bears the main urban passenger and freight traffic.Whether traffic flow of the trunk road network is clear or not directly determines the efficiency level of urban road traffic.From the perspective of city space layout and land use,the optimization strategy research on traffic flow under high density and intensity development pattern on both sides of trunk road is studied in this paper.The chief research contents include as following:Firstly,classify development mode on both sides of trunk road,then analyze the traffic flow influence on the different development patterns.Secondly,analyze urban layout and land use,then put forward the related policies for urban land use and transportation system development,and all kinds of urban spatial development strategy about sustainable transportation system.Finally,introduce the land properties and development pattern on both sides of Liuquan road in detail,and then organize staff to survey and analyze the vehicle flow and driving characteristics of various intersection.Calibrate and verify parameters through a lot of practical survey data,then utilize VISSIM simulation software to build traffic simulation experimental platform of Liuquan road.Use this platform to test and analyze various traffic optimization schemes of this road under high density and intensity development mode,and then choose the best program and propose all kinds of related strategies to improve the trunk road's traffic.
