Research On The Protection And Renewal Strategy Of Landscape Morphology Of Xiangxi Ancient Villages

The essence of ancient villages depends on the "ancient",namely its unique culture.It not only carries the historical memory of villagers for generations,it is an important part of the regional culture,with a high research value.Through their research can find traditional human settlement patterns and the origin of human life from its depths,feeling pristine natural beauty of thought.The Xiangxi ancient villages have a rich heritage and cultural research value,which have a natural landscape style pattern,a large number of ancient residential buildings and the unique local cultural traditions.However,with the rapid development of urbanization and the large-scale construction of mordern rural building,it has brought about intense impact to the traditional style of the ancient village and the ecological environment,Therefore,the ancient village protection and update working become more necessary.In recent years,only some architects began to advocate and concern the study of ancient villages from the perspective of local history and culture,the ohers involved less.The architects are mostly limited to the study of local architecture and other experts do research on ancient villages in physical form.As the ancient village is a complex system,its landscape is a mixture of the natural geographical conditions,positions of the villages,historical factors and various factors.Therefore,according to the morphology system,the ancient villages of landscape elements are decomposed into entities,virtual and emotional elements.Entities elements are presented by the Ancient Villages in external morphology and aesthetic characteristics of vision,focusing on the study of "material aspects";the study objects of virtual elements are the ancient village traffic and space form;research subjects of the emotional elements are the humanities implication significance of the ancient villages in the landscape,and interactive activity conditions and principles causing by its relationship with the spirit of people,with a focus on the research "in spirit."Considering that there are a large number of Xiangxi ancient villages,different ethnic of ancient villages have different forms,therefore,the paper analyzes morphological characteristics of Xiangxi ancient villages and divides it to the Tujia nationality and the Mao nationality.The paper extracts the village entity elements:the village path,the village borders,villages texture,regions and villages in the space of nodes and focal points,and finds the virtual and emotional elements elements.Finally,the paper identifies the problems of the protection of Xiangxi ancient villages and mines the history and culture of ancient villages.The paper also proposes some protect guidance and measures as the basis of the protection of ancient villages and tries the "Point,Line and Area" type of protection method to form elements of the landscape as a whole system.On the basis of the concept of protection of Xiangxi ancient villages,the paper formulates its renewal strategy,which achieving its sustainable development.
