| Mineral resources is the physical and chemical basis to sustain human survival and promote economic development and social progress.Mining cities are mostly built in accordance with the ore,which make great contribution to the modernization construction in our country and the process of industrialization.With the coming of post-industrial era,the world economic structure have changed dramatically,the traditional mining cities is faced with many problems such as resource depletion,environmental pollution and regional recession,many mining lands have become a waste land.On the other hand,the contradiction brought about by the urban expansion between land demand increasing and land resource limitation restricts the mining city social,economic,and ecological sustainability development.Revitalizing the industrial wasteland of mining cities can effectively increase the urban construction land and promote transformation and upgrading of economic structure of mining cities.Our country pay more and more attention to restoration and reuse of mining city’s industrial wasteland,which also provide a good opportunity for updating and regeneration of abandoned lands.Firstly,this thesis explains the research background,points out the research purpose and meaning,defines the concepts of mining city’s industrial wasteland,summarizes the basic theory,and then make longitudinal analysis and lateral comparison about renewal and regeneration theory of successful mining wasteland and best practice project at home and abroad.On this basis,points out that China’s mining cities industrial wasteland face great challenges in building and environment update,summarizes the existing six kinds of regeneration mode,establish the wasteland’s building and environment update and regeneration principle.Under the guidance of the principle,the thesis puts forward two kinds of methods about mining city’s industrial wasteland’s building and environment update and regeneration:the form of transformation and the form of intervention.The form of transformation based on "refactoring" concept,take the wasteland’s existing buildings and polluted and damaged environment as a starting point,from the following four aspects to carry out land updating and regeneration: environmental recovery and optimization,updating of architectural interior space,reshape the external form and construction techniques utilization.The form of intervention based on the concept of "place" and regarding “building on the existing ground”as the goal.At the beginning of architecture and landscape design,designers should consider two aspects: the topography and characteristic of wasteland and the context of mining city.That is the attitude of "light" which we advocate it.Base on such ideal,we may design a new architect which fused to the landscape,and the wasteland will receiving a minimal intervention.When heterogeneous things involved,wasteland will be bring out new life.In the last part,the author first summarizes the mining industrial heritage of the world cultural heritage,then classify our countries’ existing mine park mineral types and landform characteristics and pay attention to its construction situation.In conclusion,the author after reading vast amount of literature,researching relevant practical cases,based on the era background of wasteland’s urgent need to revitalize,resource depletion of mining cities and the economic transformation,in allusion to existing buildings of abandoned land,damaged building sites and polluted environment,put forward the related principles and methods of remnant’s updating and regeneration from two aspects of architecture and environment.Hope can provide the reference and revelation for the mining city’s industrial wasteland’s update and regeneration practice. |
