As the important public infrastructures in the city road transportation,the health status of the city bridges has a direct impact on the smooth roads and traffic safety.Therefore,it is necessary to make sure that the bridges are always in good working condition by carrying out effective management and maintenance measures to repair and reinforce the dangerous old bridges in time.Because of the diversity of structure types,the mixed design standards and the uneven bridge conditions,the complexity of the management of the city bridges is increasing rapidly.However,the relative management mode and means applied to the city bridge maintenance and management work are too traditional,which affects the improvement of the efficiency and the management level of the maintenance and management units,also further affects the normal use of the bridges.Domestic and foreign experience shows that the implementation of the bridge information management is an effective way to solve these problems.In addition,in view of the severe situation of the city bridges in our country,the information construction of the city bridges has been promoted from the system level,so how to realize the fine and information management of the city bridges will be the focus and direction of the work in the future.Therefore,the research on city bridge maintenance and management information system will have important practical significance.In combination with the maintenance and management modes of city bridges in China and the research status on bridge management systems at home and abroad,this article has emphatically analyzed the problems existing in the domestic urban bridge management systems,presented the research object of this paper,and proposed the research technical route of the system.Combined with the actual situation of the social city bridge maintenance and management projects and the preliminary research results,the management level of the system is established based on the administrative system in which the management work is separated from the maintenance work and the government is distinguished from the enterprises,the user types of the system are determined,aslo the system requirement analyses are carried out from three aspects: business requirement analyses,functional requirement analyses and non functional requirement analyses.Subsequently,the system is designed based on the system requirement analyses.The structure mode of B/S is chosen for this paper through the comprehensive comparisons and analyses between the structure mode of C/S and the structure mode of B/S.The function modules of the system are divided,and the detailed design of each function modules is completed.The design of the data tables of the system is completed based on the analyses of all the datas that the system needs.According to the design scheme of the system,the suitable development environment of the system is chosen,and the key technology programmes are studied.After that,the appropriate solutions are used for the development of the functional modules,and "City Bridge Maintenance and Management Information System V1.0" is developed ultimately.The system is composed of two parts,the web browsing terminal and the mobile terminal,has the advantages of convenient operation,practicability,and can effectively improve the quality and efficiency of the city bridge management.
