The Establishment Of The Information Database Based On Sql Server 2000 Water Pipe Network

Along with the social economy quickly growing, the tap-water network construction of Kunming developed a lot. Companies takes "Service" as its purpose, because tap-water industry is a part of municipal works. The traditional network management restricted water supply business to develop. It is extremely urgent to set up an advanced Water Supply GIS Network Management System. The author collected and studied a vast amount of data and examples of the domestic and overseas profession companies establishing their Water Supply GIS Network Management System. Combined these data and examples with the management condition of Kunming Water Supply Group Co., Ltd. the author advanced a key problem: the tap-water network management information data base, which was established by the basic department, is a pivot of the Water Supply GIS Network Management System Data. The study purpose of this thesis is to construct "Water Supply Engineering Management Information System of Kunming" in the Water Supply Business Center of Kunming Water Supply Group Co., Ltd. , which the author works for. In accordance with engineering management process, the author discussed "Management System" Requirement Analysis in detail, by combining the working experiences, requiring result of related department with present data situation and developing equipment. On the basis of functions and characteristics of Delphi and SQL Server, the author designed the "Management System" in logic and structure and formed the overall system. The author formed the database in accordance with the three canonical forms of database. The author also comprehensively developed and designed the "Management System" on the basis of the function requirement of engineering management. In this thesis, the author provided a solution to the data support of establishing Water Supply GIS Network Management System.
