Chinese traditional culture is the precious wealth of the Chinese nation.Inheriting and carrying forward our excellent traditional culture is the requirement of socialist core values.China is the homeland of tea,the hometown of tea.Tea culture,which has a long history and is broad and profound,is an important part of China’s excellent traditional culture.At present,tea culture courses are widely carried out in vocational colleges in China,becoming an important content of quality education in vocational colleges in China,and also becoming an important subject for college development and research.The discussion on the status and role of tea culture curriculum in quality education of vocational colleges reflects the requirement of strengthening more emphasis on tea culture curriculum and deepening the quality education in vocational colleges.How to effectively use tea culture curriculum to promote quality education in vocational colleges and train professional and high-quality tea art talents is a new research field in current tea culture curriculum research.In order to explore the feasibility and operability of tea culture curriculum in higher vocational colleges under the background of quality education,this paper takes Yuncheng Vocational and Technical College’s nine-year tea culture curriculum as the research object,and takes the school’s tea culture curriculum and students’ situation as an example to analyze the current situation of Chinese traditional culture,quality education and tea culture.Firstly,the literature research method is used to collect the literature on tea culture course offering and teaching at home and abroad,and the existing theories at home and abroad are summarized and analyzed.After that,it used the methods of questionnaire,observation and interview to understand the current situation of tea culture course in Yuncheng Vocational and Technical College and students’ views.Then,the tea culture course of Yuncheng Vocational and Technical College is analyzed by qualitative analysis.The conclusion is as follows:tea culture course plays an important role in the quality education of the college,Compared with other courses,tea culture course is more practical,closely related to various art forms,is convenient for organizing activities,and can better cultivate students’ humanistic quality.Tea culture course can improve students’ physical and psychological quality,cultivate students’ aesthetic taste,carry forward Chinese traditional virtues,establish students’ correct outlook on life and values,and help students find jobs and start businesses,Finally,according to the practice of tea culture curriculum,the paper analyzes the existing problems and puts forward corresponding suggestions to play more better value of tea culture curriculum in quality education.The paper consists of four parts.The first part explains the origin of the research,introduces the related concepts of research design,summarizes the current research status and limitations,and then explains the basic ideas and viewpoints of the research.The second part investigates and analyzes the current situation of tea culture curriculum practice in Yuncheng Vocational and Technical College,expounds the development situation of tea culture curriculum based on quality education in the school,and points out the important position and role of tea culture curriculum in quality education from the aspects of college,public elective course and other issues.The third part is to discuss the problems and deficiencies in the development and implementation process of tea culture courses in Yuncheng Vocational and Technical College on the basis of the first two steps,collect relevant cases and propose targeted solutions.The last part summarizes the full text,systematically expounds the status of tea culture in quality education and lists the practical and effective teaching suggestions.
