Research On Enterprises B Protective Products Demand Forecast And Inventory Control

The importance of safety in the production process is promoting,and the number of large-scale engineering construction projects is increasing,the favorable market condition brings opportunities for the development of personal protective textile equipment(PPE)industry.There is the huge market potential of Chinese PPE market.Foreign companies establish many global trading corporations in China.Company B was established in China by global company and engaged in protective textile trade.The company is also facing challenges while develops rapidly,such as improve the profit and service level at the same time.Because of the challenges,it must strengthen the control of the good demand and inventory.This thesis studies the current existing problems of goods management in company B,and presents a set of suitable solutions for company B.The main completed research was as follows:(1)Analyze the current situation of goods management and find out the problems of goods management in company B.(2)Select the suitable goods quantitative prediction model for company B.According to the actual situation of the company,we choose three methods:moving average method,weighted moving average method and cubic exponential smoothing method and made them to fit the historical data.After comparing the prediction errors of each method,the method with the smallest error is selected as the quantitative prediction model of goods.(3)Design the suitable priority discrimination method of the product demand for company B.According to the ABC classification,the comprehensive demand value of purchasing cost and quantity demand is sorted,and the quantity demand is sorted for each product series.The comprehensive results of the above two sorts are divided the priority of goods demand to three grades:high,medium and low.(4)Build the inventory control model and strategy of company B.Based on the prediction and classification of goods demand,use the bulk order and(s,Q)inspection strategy,set different service level intervals for goods with different priority requirements.According to the above,set the safe stock and reorder points of goods with different priority requirements.Through the research on the goods demand and inventory control,the problems existed in the inventory management of company B were solved,and the operable goods management solution was obtained.
