Study On The Environmental Carrying Capacity Of Rural Tourism Based On Tourist’s Perception

Tourism is the main way of relaxation and entertainment for modern people.Because of its beautiful natural scenery,strong local flavor and rich folk culture,rural tourism is sought after by domestic and foreign tourists.In recent years,rural tourism in China has developed vigorously,However,some scenic spots or tourist destinations operate in the pursuit of short-term interests,saturated or super environment carrying capacity,it leads to the destruction of ecological environment,the decline of humanistic environment,the waste of social resources and the decline of tourists’ satisfaction,which seriously affects the long-term and stable development of rural tourism.Therefore,it is of great significance to evaluate the environmental carrying capacity of the scenic spot accurately and ensure its operation within the carrying capacity range to ensure the healthy and long-term development of the scenic areas.Environmental carrying capacity as the core tool of tourism development and management,the main function is to ensure the development of tourism within the allowable range of tourism environment,so as to provide good tourism experience for tourists.However,most of the current evaluation of environmental carrying capacity in our country is based on the objective conditions of tourist destinations and infrastructure,rarely based on the perception of tourists,and the calculation results are only reflected by the utilization level of resources such as “number of tourists” and “number of tourists per unit area”,it completely ignores the joint influence of multiple coexisting factors of the scenic area environment,which leads to the existence of the evaluation deviation of bearing capacity and the reduction of resource utilization efficiency.In view of this,this paper takes Huaqiao village rural tourism as the research object,which from the perspective of tourists’ perception,combining with the relevant theories of environmental carrying capacity,sustainable development and tourists’ perception.By using the methods of document study,on-the-spot investigation,expert consultation and qualitative and quantitative analysis,the index system of rural tourism environmental carrying capacity based on tourists’ perception is constructed,it includes three standard levels of natural environment,human environment and social environment,15 index levels of water environment quality,noise environment quality and atmospheric environment quality.Through the statistical analysis of the questionnaire,the results show that tourists’ perception of the natural environment index is the highest,followed by the social environment index,and the humanistic environment index is the lowest.According to the analysis of tourists’ perception differences,it is found that the demographic and sociological characteristics of tourists have a significant impact on the perception and evaluation of some indicators.The results show that the educational background of tourists will significantly affect the perception evaluation of water environment quality index and noise environment quality index,the age will significantly affect the perception evaluation of leisure experience project richness index,the tourist source area will significantly affect the perception evaluation of characteristic folk participation index,and the occupation of tourists will significantly affect the perception evaluation of food and accommodation price index.Based on the evaluation of tourists’ perception and the weight analysis of each index,it is calculated that the rural tourism environmental carrying capacity index of Huaqiao village is 0.6899,which is in the state of weak load.It shows that the development of rural tourism in Huaqiao village has certain potential and space.Finally,based on the differences of tourists’ perception and the characteristics of rural tourism,in order to further improve the carrying capacity of rural tourism environment in Huaqiao village and the perception evaluation of tourists,the paper starts from three aspects: natural environment protection,human environment improvement and social environment improvement,in order to provide important guidance and reference for the sustainable development of rural tourism in Huaqiao village,7 countermeasures are put forward,including making a reasonable development plan of rural tourism,excavating the history and folk culture of rural tourism and strengthening the management of accommodation and catering in the scenic area.
