As the pillar industry of the national economy,construction industry has made important contributions to China’s economic development and social progress,but there are still some construction safety accidents happened under the prosperity of construction industry.According to Accident-Causing Theory,the unsafe behavior of human is an important cause of safety accident.As the main executor of construction work,the safety compliance and participation behavior of construction workers is the key to ensure the safety of construction on site.The new generation of construction workers have significant characteristics of the times and rich interest demands,and have gradually become the main force of construction sites in China.Therefore,it is very important to study and explore how to promote their safety behavior.Job satisfaction is closely related to employees’ organizational behavior,and has become an important indicator to measure the comprehensive management performance of enterprises.However,the impact of job satisfaction on the safety behavior of construction workers in the field of engineering construction has not been fully valued by the theoretical and industrial circles.Aiming at the important group of new generation construction workers,this paper takes safety knowledge sharing and work engagement as mediating variables to study and explore the influence mechanism of job satisfaction on their safety behavior,in order to promote the safety behavior of new generation construction workers from the perspective of improving job satisfaction,and then improve safety management performance.First of all,based on the analysis of the group characteristics and interest demands of new generation construction workers,this paper analyzes the formation process of the safety behavior of new generation construction workers by using the theory of planned behavior and social exchange theory,and constructs the theoretical framework of the formation process of the safety behavior of new generation construction workers from the perspective of job satisfaction.Secondly,the concept and dimensions of research variables such as safety behavior,job satisfaction,safety knowledge sharing and work engagement are defined.Combined with theoretical analysis and literature research,this paper puts forward research hypotheses and constructs the theoretical model of influence mechanism of job satisfaction on safety behavior of new generation construction workers.And then,the localization measurement scale of each variable is developed.Thirdly,the formal questionnaire is formed on the basis of pre survey,and data is collected widely.SPSS22.0 software and AMOS21.0 software are used to carry out descriptive statistical analysis,reliability analysis,EFA and CFA analysis.Then SEM and hierarchical regression analysis are used to test theoretical models and research hypotheses,and research results are also discussed in the end.Finally,based on empirical research results and demand characteristics of new generation construction workers,this paper puts forward countermeasures to promote safety behaviors of new generation construction workers from three aspects: improving job satisfaction,enhancing work engagement and promoting safety knowledge sharing.The results show that:(1)Job satisfaction can indirectly promote safety behavior of new generation construction workers.(2)Work engagement can’t play a moderating role between job satisfaction and safety behavior,but it can play a mediating role between job satisfaction and safety participation behavior of new generation construction workers with safety knowledge sharing.(3)It can stimulate and promote safety behaviors of new generation construction workers by improving their job satisfaction,enhancing their work engagement and promoting safety knowledge sharing.The research results further enrich the theoretical system of safety behavior of construction workers and promote the cross integration of different disciplines in the field of engineering construction,which has important theoretical significance.At the same time,the research results provide a new idea for the majority of construction enterprises and construction authorities to improve unsafe behavior of new generation construction workers by improving their job satisfaction,thereby improving safety management level,which has important reference value.This paper includes 19 pictures,54 tables and 205 references.
