An Aesthetic Quantitative Study On Color Collocation Design Of Sofa Wood Frame And Upholstery

At present,color is the most direct perception of sofa,and the aesthetic color scheme can make the sofa stand out in the dynamic market.Compared with foreign countries,the choice of color in China is somewhat blind,and there is a gap in the quantitative research of color matching design.Therefore,it is necessary to further explore the scientific,rational sofa color matching design methods and rules.This paper uses the exposed wooden sofa as the carrier,the color collocation of wooden frame and upholstery is taken as the specific research object and need to sample the color of different style sofas.Applying the Meng-Spenther color harmony principle to quantitatively analyze the beauty of sofa color matching through field research,inductive comparison,fuzzy evaluation,questionnaire survey and other research methods.Findings:1.Sofa wooden frame and upholstery main materials and colors are different due to different styles:(1)Main materials:The three most used materials in the Chinese style are the ambila,the walnut and the ebony.The modern style is the walnut,the zingana and the oak.The occident style is the mahogany,the walnut and the tulip.Coth art is most used in Chinese style,leather in the occident style,and the modern style uses both of all.(2)Color:The color hue of the wooden frame of the sofa is dominated by orange yellow(5YR-5Y),the lightness value is 1-3,and the chroma value is 4-8.The Chinese style color is light yellow,dark brown and purple brown.The color of the modern style is relatively biased to the bright dark brown color,and the color of the occident style will turn to reddish brown.The Chinese style upholstery is concentrated in the warm-color system(10YR-5GY)and the cold-color system(5B-10PB)with low color.The upholstery of modern style is concentrated in the warm-color system(7.5R-10Y),medium-low-color and low-color cold-color system(7.5B-7.5PB).The upholstery of occident style is concentrated in the warm-color system(10YR-10Y)with low lightness and low color,and the cold-color system(5B-10B)with high brightness and low color.2.Different styles of sofa have the same color matching rules:(1)Color matching range: From the hue,the color of the orange line(YR)and the yellow line(R)is the same as the red line(R),the orange line(YR),the yellow line(Y).The upholstery color of the yellow-green line(GY)and the blue-violet system(PB)is high.In a high-profile contrast in lightness,a short-to-medium contrast in color.(2)The rules of color three elements interval: There is at least one contrast between the hue interval and value or chroma interval in sofa wooden and upholstery.Moreover,theblending effect of the brightness and chroma interval will directly affect the final color matching result of the sofa,and the hue reconciliation only plays an auxiliary role.(3)The rules of color matching design: The design is mainly based on similar colors and contrasting tones,supplemented by complementary colors.The application of upholstery without color system is in sharp contrast with the warm color system of wood frame.Combining the weak contrast of brightness and the short contrast of color degree,the color harmony can be obtained.3.A survey on aesthetic preference of sofa color matching design in different styles: The sofa design case is used to verify and evaluate the aesthetic preferences of consumers.The results show that the color matching preference of women consumers over 30 years old and without design background is more consistent with the theoretical color matching recommendation.Through the combing of different styles of sofa color of wooden and upholstery,the evaluation of color matching aesthetics,and systematically reconciling the three elements of color,this paper tries to enhance the aesthetic perception of sofa color from sensibility to rational level,thus obtaining the color scheme and design rule of the sofa,to lay a certain foundation for the furniture color theory.
