Research On Color Semantics Of Sichuan Traditional Embroidery

Sichuan traditional embroidery mainly refers to the embroidery process in the western Sichuan plain centered on Chengdu,Sichuan.In the long-term historical process,due to the continuous integration of culture and the continuous change of geographical boundaries,Sichuan embroidery combines various traditions of Shu embroidery and its surrounding areas.The characteristics of embroidery,Sichuan embroidery referred to in this paper,selected representative Shu embroidery,Qiang embroidery and Maliu embroidery for finishing,analysis and refinement.The integration and development of Sichuan embroidery has experienced many important stages.With the transformation of modern society’s needs,the embroidery process is facing the test of inheritance and development,undergoing transformation and regeneration.After a long-term integration and development,Sichuan embroidery has gradually formed regional embroidery mainly based on Shu embroidery,Qiang embroidery and Maliu embroidery.It has the typical characteristics of rigorous and delicate,bright and smooth,sparse composition,thick and round,and bright colors.Among them,the color system of Sichuan embroidery has a very important role as the meta-language of embroidery,reflecting the light,color,shape and meaning of embroidery.Its color elements have unique visual characteristics,which make Sichuan embroidery show unique visual characteristics.As the meta-language of embroidery,color carries spiritual ideas and unique connotations and conveys hidden visual information.It is irreplaceable by other artistic languages.Embroidered color has become an ideological language form,and therefore has important research value.The article uses field research,network research,field visits,data analysis and other research methods,through the NCS color analysis method to extract and analyze Sichuan traditional embroidery color data,summarize color characteristics and collocation rules.By concentrating on the color system of Sichuan embroidery,Sichuan embroidery color is truly an independent element of expressive meaning,and through the research method of NCS color analysis,an attempt is made to establish a scientific and rigorous color research method,and the color research logic of Sichuan embroidery is passed Translation techniques are tried to apply to modern design.Through the exploratory design of products,furniture and space design,it is proposed that Sichuan embroidery colors be expanded from traditional plane composition to three-dimensional in modern society,from three-dimensional space to four-dimensional experience,from From traditional crafts to digital application,through multiple design approaches,the artistic value of Sichuan traditional embroidery color logic,color image and color context is reproduced.On the one hand,this study can systematically refine the color semantics of Sichuan embroidery,Qiang embroidery,and Maliu embroidery.On the other hand,the color system application method through NCS color analysis can assist designers to reproduce Sichuan tradition in design works.Embroidered color images help promote traditional color culture and enhance the artistic value of modern design in China.
