Color Characteristics And Color Pedigree Construction Of Suzhou Embroidery Ornaments

As a traditional folk art,Suzhou embroidery is not only a representative item of China’s intangible cultural heritage,but also an important manifestation of China’s silk culture,embroidery culture and aesthetic culture.Color is an important visual symbol of Suzhou embroidery ornamental products.The analysis of color characteristics and color pedigree construction of Suzhou embroidery ornamental products is one of the effective means to realize the protection and inheritance of China’s excellent traditional culture.However,at present,scholars’ analysis of the color characteristics of Suzhou embroidery ornamental products mainly depends on subjective evaluation and perceptual cognition,and the combination with traditional Chinese color culture is not comprehensive,which can not well balance the differences between modern research methods and traditional cultural research.In addition,in recent years,genealogy has become one of the important methods for the dissemination and storage of intangible cultural heritage information,and has been widely used in many fields of traditional cultural research.However,there is still a certain gap in the research on the construction of color genealogy for Suzhou embroidery appreciation.Based on the above problems,this study starts from the construction scheme of the color pedigree of Suzhou embroidery ornamental appreciation,measures the color data of Suzhou embroidery ornamental products,combines the traditional color culture of China,and analyzes the color characteristics of each construction element in the color pedigree of various types of Suzhou embroidery ornamental appreciation,finally completes the construction of the color pedigree of various types of Suzhou embroidery ornamental appreciation,and achieves the purpose of intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance.This study combed the historical development of Suzhou Embroidery Ornaments by using the literature research method,and combined with the relevant unearthed cultural relics and historical data of Suzhou Embroidery Ornaments,analyzed its development characteristics in various historical periods;Secondly,by using the concepts and methods of genealogy,and by excavating the construction elements of the color pedigree of Suzhou embroidery appreciation,such as the genre,representative inheritors,common colors,color matching relationship and color style,this paper puts forward the construction scheme of the color pedigree of Suzhou embroidery appreciation,representative inheritors and themes around the relevant construction elements;Then,this study uses K-means clustering algorithm to measure the color data of 324 Suzhou embroidery ornamental pictures collected from museums,auction houses,master studios,etc.,and matches the color data with the collected Chinese traditional color names.Finally,5298 groups of Suzhou embroidery ornamental color data and traditional color names matching with each group of color data are obtained through this method;Finally,this study obtains the color characteristics of the color pedigree construction elements of various types of Suzhou embroidery appreciation through the analysis of the color pedigree construction elements such as the age of Suzhou embroidery appreciation,representative inheritors and themes,and completes the construction of different types of color pedigree such as the period of Suzhou embroidery appreciation,representative inheritors and themes.This study obtains the color data of Suzhou embroidery ornamental products through K-means clustering algorithm,and combines it with traditional Chinese color culture for correlation analysis,which provides a new reference angle for the analysis of color characteristics and color pedigree construction of Suzhou embroidery ornamental products,with a view to promoting the protection and inheritance of traditional Chinese color culture and intangible cultural heritage.
