| Beijing Shayan kite is the most representative style of Beijing kite art,and its production technology is an important part of China’s intangible cultural heritage.Based on the case study of Beijing’s Shayan kite making technology,this paper traces the historical development of Beijing’s Shayan kite by using the methods of literature research and field investigation,and analyzes that Shayan kite appeared in Beijing from Qianlong to Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty,developed to a small peak in the period of the Republic of China,and developed to another peak after the reform and opening up.This paper studies the shape,structure,pattern and color of Shayan kites,and analyzes the composition and artistic characteristics of 210 patterns through data statistics.This paper studies the standards and rules of the selection of Shayan kites,and analyzes the generality and difference of the technology of different kites schools.By visiting eight representative inheritors of kite making skills in Beijing,we can sort out the context of the inheritance and deeply understand the current situation of the inheritors’ living inheritance.At present,there are still many problems in the inheritance and protection of the production technology of Beijing Shayan kites.Half of the inheritors have no apprentices.There are faults in the inheritors,and the phenomenon of sales difficulties is widespread.The inheritors do not fully grasp the production technology of Shayan kites and the historical and cultural connotation behind it,and there is a tendency of homogenization and alienation. |
