The Practical Research On Chinese Tableware Design Under The Concept Of Experiential Design

Chinese tableware plays a role of the container for carrying food,more importantly,it is also an important medium for communicating and disseminating the dietary concept and dietary culture that keep pace with the times.At present,the design of Chinese-style tableware in China has not elaborated the connotation culture of the tableware,but still focuses on its shape and color,which has a certain distance with the foreign concepts of tableware designing.Based on the background above,the research method is proposed with the core concept of experience design in the design of Chinese tableware.In this paper,we carry out the research on the development of Chinese tableware,Chinese catering culture and experience design,furthermore,we have designed the "blooming season" Chinese tableware with this idea,which provides theoretical and innovative guidance for the designing of Chinese tableware.Firstly,starting with the traditional Chinese tableware,this paper expounds and compares the design concepts of the ancient as well as the modern Chinese tableware,at the same time,it runs through the development route of Chinese diet culture: traditional diet-information age-intelligent life.Secondly,it describes the origin and development of the experience design,which also explores the impact and significance of the tableware designing.It explores the experience of using tableware with the aspects of dining psychology,dining demand and dining experience,that analyses the embodiment of experience design concept in Chinese tableware design from three aspects: sensory,emotional and psychological.Thirdly,in terms of the design principles of Chinese tableware,this paper puts forward three points: emotional touching,humanistic harmony and functional practicability.Finally,with the design investigation and analysis,also considering of brand,style and culture,we made the conception of designing Chinese tableware with the idea of experience design,and also carried out the innovative design scheme of the "blooming season" Chinese tableware under the concept of experience design.
