Adhere to the "Five Balances" is to lead the urban development with Chinese characteristics.Among them,the three major plans of production,living,and ecology are important spatial strategies for improving the livability of urban development.Urban Master Plan for Urumqi(2014-2020)has clearly stated that it is necessary to form a reasonable urban spatial structure according to the general requirements of promoting an intensive and efficient production space,a livable and moderate living space and a beautiful ecological space.Therefore,the ecological-production-life spaces have become an important foundation for constructing the urban planning system,improving the spatial development and protection for the national land and implementing major functional area planning at various scales.Ecological-production-life functional classification and space recognition are the basic prerequisites for realizing urban functional space optimization.Based on the functional classification of three spaces,this study uses the interest points of various facilities as data sources,and uses spatial statistical analysis to implement space identification of ecological-production-life spaces in the central urban area of Urumqi.On this basis,the current status of the “three students” functional spatial pattern in the central urban area was analyzed from four aspects: spatial layout,spatial characteristics,spatial pattern,and spatial evaluation,and four factors were derived from physical geography,economic environment,population society,and transportation factors.The area began to discuss the causes of the above spatial pattern.The research results show that:(1)the ecological-production-life functional space has obvious urban agglomeration features,and the functional carrying capacity of the old city is still too heavy.The periphery of the central city is still at the stage of urban expansion,with low-density,non-contiguous distribution of production function elements.Mainly;the features of life function and ecological function are dotted,and the layout of facilities still lags behind the production space.(2)From the perspective of the evaluation of urban planning status,the “one axis” feature in the spatial structure planning of Urumqi central city and the comprehensive features of the southern district in “two zones” are more obvious.From the perspective of the development direction of production,living,and ecological space,the distribution direction is northwest-southeast,which is consistent with the urban spatial expansion axis planned by the central city of Urumqi.At the same time,some areas of functional positioning and urban function positioning have been relatively complete.For example,the financial center and ecological space core are located at the junction of Tianshan District,Shayibake District and Shuimogou District.The Tianshan District,Shayibake District,Gaoxin District and Shuimogou District in the central area ofUrumqi all meet the planning and positioning requirements from the perspective of the number of three functional elements,but there is a problem of excessive street clustering.(3)The spatial pattern of ecological-production-life function in the central urban area of Urumqi is the result of multiple factors.The physical and geographical conditions have constrained the overall layout of urban development direction and function elements.The dual forces of economic development inertia and policy guidance have intensified spatial location advantages,generated spatial polarization of population and society,and increased the demand for public service facilities,leading to functional factors.However,traffic is an important space carrier to ease the agglomeration of various types of functional spaces and to guide the layout of production and living space.
