| In order to meet personalized demands of consumers and improve market competition strengths of enterprises,the traditional manufacturing and retail industries have shifted their market strategies from relying heavily on product quality,technology,and price advantages to the service-oriented mode of "product + service".The warranty extension service is a concrete manifestation of "product + service" mode and an expression of the integrated development trend of manufacturing,retail and service industries.This paper,taking the L company,an agent of mining and energy equipment,as the object of study,discusses the operation mode of warranty extension service,and problems occurred during operation of warranty extension service and their improvement solutions,so as to provide references for the counterparts encountering the similar problems and government organs regulating and exercising stronger oversight over the market of warranty extension service.Therefore,by means of literature research,case study,comparative study and investigation study,as well as qualitative research and quantitative research,this paper defines the coverage of warranty extension,sorts out the status quo of domestic and international study on warranty extension service,and makes clear the operation mode at home and abroad.In addition,by analyzing the development background and current status of warranty extension service of L company,the paper conducts a comprehensive analysis on product design contents,sales channel and strategy,delivery process,administrative guarantee and backstage management of warranty extension service and puts forward improvement opinions specific to different problems for reference of other warranty extension service providers.The following conclusions have been reached by comprehensive analysis on the operation mode of warranty extension service of L company: firstly,making clear the relations between each stakeholder in the warranty extension business serves as an important prerequisite for sound development of warranty extension industry chain;secondly,powerful organizational guarantee and backstage management are core elements of smooth operation of warranty extension business;thirdly,multiple factors need to be considered when it comes to pricing of warranty extension service;fourthly,companies should develop sales strategies within their capabilities;fifthly,scientific training system of warranty extension service is the key to improve the sales rate of extended warranty service;and lastly,the supervision over warranty extension service market hinges on the concerted efforts of the government,the industry and enterprises themselves. |
