This paper is based on a European foreign coatings company L.Its products are mainly exported to Europe.In recent years,with the country’s tightening of chemical companies from safety supervision and environmental protection policies,the cost of land resources,and the rapid rise in labor costs,the company is facing a sharp rise in the cost of the entire supply chain,and at the same time,due to the maturity of the market and increased competition,the company’s profits have fallen sharply.Through the research and analysis of the cost control of the company’s supply chain,this paper finds out the cost control improvement strategy to help the company out of the predicament.The main content of this paper is to analyze the company’s procurement and inventory control,manufacturing process,facility operation,combined with the theory of supply chain cost management,to find out the corresponding cost management and control strategy.The main conclusion of this paper is that L company first classifies raw materials in procurement and inventory control,localizes raw materials,improves supplier management,optimizes procurement strategies,and improves inventory control strategies;then strengthens control over manufacturing processes in manufacturing processes.Optimize the production plan,reduce the poor quality cost caused by the production process,implement delayed manufacturing,improve automation;finally re-arrange the plant and logistics center in the operation of the facility,improve the operation and maintenance strategy of the facility,optimize the production mode,and optimize the storage mode.And finally to reduce the cost of the company’s supply chain.
