A Comparative Study On The Decorative Art Of Chu Sword And Han Sword

Swords in the pre Qin and Han Dynasties are not only weapons on the battlefield,but also contain rich human information behind their material carriers.The fierce and warrior spirit gave birth to the style of good swords of Chu people,the custom of burying swords and the system of wearing swords of Han Dynasty.The unique sword culture is an important representation of the early Chinese civilization.In such a background,the ancients had nothing to do with the decoration of swords.The decoration of these swords was gorgeous,exquisite and characteristic.This paper mainly takes the comparison of the decorative art of Chu and Han swords as the starting point,and makes a comparative study of the decorative art and the characteristics of the decorative style of the two.This paper expounds and contrasts its material,manufacturing technology,shape,pattern and function,and tries to demonstrate the internal relationship between the Chu and Han sword and the possibility of inheritance between them.
